pretest

pretests help studdents prepare for bigger tests

Hi Christopher:
Yes - one great use is a teacher's comparison from start to end of class progress.

Regards, Barry

On day one, this an excellent tool for learning the student’s knowledge on the subject. It also provides the student with an introduction to the main points that will be covered as the lessons progress. Lastly, it is great tool that shows how much each student learned when compared to the final test results.

Hi Mark:
Really, I think pretesting helps the teacher as much as the student. The teacher can get an idea where their students are performing generally, and use that information to help plan their course a little closer matched to where their students are actually prepared to learn.

It really helps to reenforce knowledge. The more they see the material, the more they will retain.

Tuan:
Sometimes, a practice test before the real test is helpful. Pretesting at the beginning of a course can tell the teacher a lot about what the students know and how best to instruct them.
