Troubleshooting Instructional Strategies
I feel that if an instructor is having issues delivering materials to the class, having anonymous report card given back is a great way to assess what is happening. Especially when students don’t feel as though they’re being targeted.
Hi Gavin:
Student feedback is a great way (though not completely accurate) to get a sense of what's working and whats not. Peer review is a similar version of the same idea. Sticking to the course objectives is a safe way to assure a teacher is reaching the main topics.

I personally have several points throughout the term where I ask for anonymous feedback from the class. I find that this gives me some valuable insight as it is unofficial and the responses I get allow me to address the concerns of the class immediately and without repercussions. I often find that these are some of the most honest responses I get.
Hi Toufik:
An interesting idea.
I think better teachers begin by thorough planning for a class, and then as it progresses, are constantly making day by day, even hour by hour adjustments in their delivery, methods, student engagement, media choice, activities, etc. It's really quite a dynamic process. We have to frequently determinbe if we are reaching the students. If we sense not so, then we need to readjust our actions in order to meet the objectives. And there are about a gazillion ways to go about that (beyond the scope of this post).
