How we trouble shoot or prevent problems with instructional issues
To trouble shoot what you are going to be teaching if your curriclum is already in place is to go through each video, poser point and or assignment briefly to make sure all is working properly. Also proof reading the tests to make sure what you are teaching co insides with what is on the tests. A couse check list helps.

Variety is so important, and keeping instructional segments in smaller, bite-size bits just makes class more manageable, interesting, and memorable.

This is so important in preparing for the course week. Every week we have to move to a new subject so making sure the quizzes coincide with the content of the week is imperative. I go over the agenda, vocab list, projects and get my guest speakers or fieldtrips all planned out for the term. It can be a challenge to get it together since we are all expected to continuously improve the course content. You have to ask for the feedback and get the student consensus about what needs to be improved and remember that the next time the course comes around. I really liked the suggestions about taking notes and having the class broken down to 15 minute chunks. I am going to give these a try!

Rachael,
Students observe the minutiae of our behavior. Well prepared and ready to teach will convey emphasis on the content, rather than the sloppy chaos that can result if we're less than fully prepared.

It is best to be prepared. Be the instructor that the students do not doubt. Do not waste time on trying to get the powerpoint to load. If you had checked it before hand it would be working. I like to get to my class no less than 5 minutes early to have everything prepared and relaxed so I can move on with my lecture. I do not enjoy winging it..
Deborah ,
Sounds like what every responsible, prepared instructor ought to do.
