Time Management

As a way to keep you on time, be flexible and ready to spend some time on the subject at the next meeting. Make sure there are worksheets to help the students self evaluate if you have extra time. Be prepared to show a video or animation that goes along with the class if you find that you have extra time.

Time management is very important to be, because it lets me know if the class is learning. I will pace everything I give to my students, and always ask for feedback. Feedback is very important, this lets me know that the student is learning and comprehending the material that is giving to them.

Beside showing a video or animation to the class, sometimes I added a feedback session from everyone and have a mini discussion to pass the extra time.

Students love when we let them move at their own pace and help them along the way. It builds confidence in them

This is true. Every adult learns and decode information differently. It is our, the instructors, responsibility to make sure the content lectured on is well received, understood and reinforced.

I have found having these resources available at a moments notice helps reinforce the topic of the night and helps the students stay engaged in the class lesson...breaks up the lecture sleep and/or stare.
