Analytical Thinking Activities
I have students work in groups of two on assingments to review patient chart notes and abstract the key words to choose the correct diagnosis for each patient. But I would like some help in this area.
When I have my class work in teams of 2 or more, I give them a timeline and an objective so they can stay on track.
Hi Christin,
It is amazing what students can learn from each other. Peer teaching is very effective, and students tend to enjoy peer teaching.

We work in teams of 2 on some projects in the kitchen. they learn from each other & can stop one another if they start to make a mistake.
Some times I let them choose their partner or I select the teams.
Hi Sandra,
Students love working in groups. You can also have a guest speakers to come in and speak about the topic and have the students write a summary based on the guest speakers presentation, in addition to them using their thinking abilities to do the group project. Continue with the group project. Field trips work nicely too to help generate great thinking.
