Sometimes when I have definitions, terms, lists to review prior to test, I make up jeopardy, family feud type games to get everyone involved.

I feel when students are in class the class should have fun while learning at the same time. To just lecture for hours can be real boring and will put the students to sleep. By making the lecture fun by telling of personal experiences that were funny keeps the students awake and alert. I have had many students come to class with personal issues that just had them down. By having fun during class makes them forget about what ever is bothering them and picks them up. When you see that student go from having a bad day to having a good day in your class because you made it happen, makes you feel really good about your teaching skills. Job well done!
Indeed, fun activities make for fun and memorable learning. Today we talked about comunication, so we played the telephone game, the kids had fun and said they will remember this chpter because of our activity.

No matter what my personal problems may be, when I walk into the classroom its time to have fun. I get high evaluations from the students because i make class fun yet at the same time the students learn. By having fun in class can make a students bad day better.
