Active learning
I have found that getting students up out of their chair and researching the topic to be very helpful. I have them work in groups to find part numbers and facts about various products we discuss. I have found this very effective.
Hi Francis,
Great exercise to get students involved and promote active learning.

I have my students out of their seats a much as possible diagraming schematics on the board, following flow charts and discussing various hydraulic schematics as much as possible. I rather like the class participation when this goes on as all get to offer something to the discussion.
Hi NATHAN,
It is good for students to learn to work in a group setting so that when they begin their career they understand the importance of group work.
