Small group self assesments

As a potentially high risk exercise, do others find that having the group do self progression assessments a way to keep everyone involved and equally participating? I do this for groups of 4 or so when working on a 5 week project.

Hi Matthew,
I agree! Strong academic students can generally take the lead in several areas, thus making the assignment a positive result/experience for all.

Patricia, I also do this and find that the stronger academic student can help motivate other students in the group.

Hi Aaron,
This is a good way to keep all involved. I always make sure to include a strong academic student in the group so that I know if things are not going well I will be told!
