Hi Carla,
Just think when we were in kindergarten we learned through repetitious and by doing. These practices still work today.

I agree that active learning is my choice --especially hands on activities that re-inforce lecture and discussion. I am an active learner and need repetition for staying power.
Hi Mary,
Try the active learning approach. Active learning is a very effective and fun way of learning for students. Students really do like being kept busy in a meaningful way. There is so much you can do with hands-on learning.

The course I teach requires a lot of vocabulary and identification of motifs and objects, but this course will help me add more active learning into the curriculum as I believe it does keep students' interest.
Hi Rebecca,
I agree! It sticks with students when they can actually do what they are learning.

I strongly believe there are many students who learn best by active learning
Hi Emma,
Students really love active learning, contrary to belief, students would rather be doing something constructive that pertains to the lesson.
