Creating small groups and giving them atask to complete .Like a plated fruit salad I have shown them and now they need to produce a plate.Not exactly what I did but with the same ingredients with guidlines of what is appropriate for that plate and what is not.Students can present reaaly creative dishes this way and also given instant feedback of what is acceptable and what is not!!!!!
