Active Learning
I have found it, very successful for the students, when active learning tools are implemented in the classroom. They are more acceptable to learning while actually participating on activities that focus on the main objectives of class. There are a lot of resources that can be utilized, as was mentioned in this course. Thank you for your help...
Hi Robin,
Hands-on activities work well. Students would rather be doing something that applies to the lesson than to sit and have to lesson to the instructor.

I agree! I always include a hands-on activity or some type of small group activity to get the students up and moving! These activities hook on to the lecture time.
Hi David,
A simple task of having the student apply the concept is a great way to determine their understanding.

Creating the active learning is half the challenge, what are some strategies to access that the students have grasped the concept and were able to understand the objective?
I personally have my students take readiness assessment tests , I would like to know your suggestions.
