Know yourself
In my opinion probably one of the most important components of being all the things that encompass being an affective instructor. Knowing who you are gives you the reassurance and confidence needed to be a Model, Motivator and an effective Manager. The more I do this job the more I find out about me and my abilities. I think it helps, do you agree?
I agree. The more I teach a class ---the more i learn. I learn from the students--because i am given a different view on topics. I learn along with the students thus I become a better instructor for my next class.

I do agree that you must know yourself. By keeping a running inventory of your developing skills as an educator you see how you are improving with each class you teach. Your self confidence growth will help you to become better at being the model, manager and motivator that you want to be. Keep up the good work.
