making sure to involve my students
the best way i have found to get them involved is to have they answer my questions. then have them to ask other student questions.
I find that using a variety of activities and approaches involves all students. Having students write the questions and having other students answer actively involves all students. Lecture, small group, pair activites, and computer activities help to diversify instruction. A variety of techniques helps to engage all learning styles.
I also do this so they have to do the research and they retain the information better when they had to work to attain it.
I found that my students learn better when I ask them to find the answers on their questions. I provide them with the source where they would find the answers they are looking for. This way they retain the information and less likely will forget.
