What is the real definition of Profesionalism?
I would say changing someone's life, a graduation that a student thanks you personally for support and help. A parent's appreciation for being the ideal role model, but most importantly helping fortify that person as an individual, and not just as a technician.
Hi Samuel,
Professionalism is displaying confidence, competence and capabilities reflective of the career area for which you are preparing students. A role model for that career to which the students can look as they themselves prepare to enter the field.
I wish you the best as you grow as a professional educator.
