Stay Motivated and Professional
I believe being motivated while teaching will keep the student interested in the subject being taught. The student will enjoy coming to class on the daily basis and the information presented will enable the student to want to learn more.
Hi Michele,
What a great professional development plan. Your striving to continue your ability to be a better instructor is what is going to help you to enjoy being an educator. It is a great job due to all of the individuals you get to work with and influence as they develop into professionals.

First, I love what I teach. Naturally, I strive to get better and better at what I do. I also seek out and enroll in seminars provided by national associations in my field. Every now and then I tune-in to fresh perspectives on the subject by lecturers and get refreshed. My motivation and inspiration subsequently is transmitted to my students. The friendships with people in my field also motivate me and spark creativity in my subject matter. The students sense this excitement and also become enthusiastic.
Thank you for the info as a new instructor i believe this will help.
Hi Rory,
Great to hear about how your students are motivated to work with each other and to learn. This is one of the rewards of teaching. Keep up the good work.

I think staying motivated and professional are important and the students are able to pick up on it. Some of the students have also teamed up with others to help the weaker ones study. It is a wonderful feeling when I walk into my class at 7am and see 5 students talking about what we have learned and the class starts at 8am. Thanks I enjoyed this session.
Hi Kymberly,
You are right on about being motivated while teaching. What techniques have you used to keep you excited and motivated about teaching?
