Motivating Instructors to Take These Courses

I have been teaching for the past nine years and have a good understanding of the benefits in taking these online courses. I feel they reinforce the things I do well and help to provide insight into areas I can improve upon.
My question is, what are some ways to motivate other instructors to buy into the same thought process?

I think it is important to keep in mind that many adjunct instructors who teach part-time also have full-time jobs, volunteer, mentor, and have other responsibilities outside of teaching. If courses are not so time consuming, instructors like myself would be more likely to proactively take the courses.

Hi Meg,
Keep up the good work of encouraging the professional development of other instructors. Their growth will result in better instruction and higher personal satisfaction from their teaching.
Gary

I agree that these courses will be helpful for all instructors despite how long you've been teaching. I have no magic way to motivate other instructors to see these courses to develop their skills as instructors, but testimonials from those who have taken it would help.
