Reflection

Reflection is parallel to continuous improvement cited in quality initiatives. What are some specific metrics one could design as tools to guide the reflective process?

Hi Stephen,
The specific metrics would depend on what areas you are seeking to improve within and at what level. If you were looking for ways to introduce the syllabus and course requirements to new students in a more effective and efficient way then you would set specific goals within those areas. Try the new activities out, evaluate them and then make any changes needed. Then you would move on to another area in which you would be seeking improvement. Combined this would be a comprehensive professional development plan that would be achieved over several years.
