Hi Laura,
I talk individually with each student and explain the behavior I expect from them. I let them know that if the behavior continues they will not pass the course nor be allowed to finish their program. This generally takes care of the situation. Make sure to follow through if the students do not start to develop a positive attitude toward each other. They don't have to like each other but they do have to be civil because they are going to have to learn how to get along with each other in the work place.
