Developing as an Instructor
In Interior Design we are required to maintain CEUs for professional licensure. I find combining these requirenemnts with online training to be beneficial. Any othre interior designers as part of this training?

Being able to think creatively and critically is essential for career success. Students that develop this ability are valued by employers. The more you can facilitate the development this expertise the greater impact you are going to have on your students and field.

As a new facilitator, and as a doctoral candidate, I am most interested in facilitators who can bring real world experience to the table. Thus, I understand the importance of being able to provide current information to my students. In addition, I think it is important to provide questions that will allow students to think critically. Students should be able to "apply" concepts to real world experience. I continue to challenge myself to make sure that students understand by providing examples that they will remember and learn from.
