I hope your school has provided you plenty of upfront training to handle the classroom. I have mainly been teaching online course but taught at a community college ("CC") once and hated it. I came to the conclusion the CC students had little to no knowledge or experience to share with the class and many were very young and didn't seem very motivated. While my online classes my students are usually older and have knowledge and experience in a field where they can share information with their classmates called peer learning. Also my online learns seem more mature and have a definite motivations to doing well.
I have also found this module so far has provided a lot of good details and tips to assist new and current teachers how to evolve and continue to being great teachers.
