Instructional style

Instructional Style as described in this reading materials are excellent. I teach in the medical field, my questions is, how do I present my course materials effectively to those student's with absolutely no medical background and for those with some medical background. I know its a challenge would like to get some advice on this area.

Hi Michael,
There are a couple of approaches you can use. One, is to form learning groups that include a mix of the inexperienced and experienced students. This way they can help each other in the learning process with you serving as the "coach". Another is to provide the students with structured outlines or guided notes. These two devices help all students to identify the key points and see how the content unfolds in the day's lesson.
Any questions on these suggestions let me know.
Gary
