Motivation
Motivation and enthusiasm is important in the class room
Hi Christopher,
I work very hard to create a connection between the course content and their lives. I try to show them application and relevancy. In addition, we do a lot of dynamic things in the class so the students stay engaged and focused on the content.
The course I teach is an upper level one that is required by every student to get his/her state certificate so they aren't the most excited to take the course. I take this as a challenge and work very hard to help the students to like the course even if they don't want to.

How do you motivate students when the course they are in is obviously not interesting to them, or they feel it is of absolutely no value to them?
Motivation and enthusiasm is important in the class room because it keeps the student interested in the course and the instructor on his/her toes, because the students are always hungry for more information.
Motivation keeps the students interested in course content and keeps the instructor upbeat and excited about transfer of information and knowledge
