I began my first class teaching at the college last term. It was scarry! I felt the college tried to prepare me, but did so poorly. I had to read alot, prepare extensively and be prepared for any situation that might arise.
I sought out an instructor that taught the class previously and received some guidance from her as well as some of her power point presentations. This helped a lot!! My suggestiong to you is to seek out someone who has taught the class before, look at their material to get an idea of where to begin and put your own spin on it.
Now that I am moving on to my second, I feel much more comfortable.
