Leanring the straigies and ways to best rech your students will for one keep the students engaged on what they are there for and giving them a structure is important for them as a whole to feel comfortable with you as a instuctor by showing them you are confident and well prepared to quide them and teach them this course
A new instructor should be aware of their teaching style. A new instructor must be flexible in their style, so that they can continue to change their style inorder to reach their students. When i want my students to read more on a subject, I assign articles to read, and then we have discussions. I become the students, and allow them to teach me what they have read. i tell them, you will be teaching me something new, so make sure you present it so I will be able to understand. An adult learner must be part of the process,,they must be engaged in learning..and must be able to share....they learn more, and it becomes practically knowledge...for an example my students played a game of monopoly as a tool to help them understand how to begin a new business with captial...it worked well, they understood the accounting concepts....flexiable
