Learning Styles
I think that it is so important to tailor your teaching styles to the classroom and the particular course that your teaching. Some courses are more hands-on and others require more application type exercises. It is always rewarding when you keep an open mind about accepting change and criticism in order to improve the classroom setting.
I think it is very important to have your own style.
You are correct Jenifer. I have a basic style I use in the classroom, but after the first 30 miniutes in a classroom I can make specific adjustments according to the personality of the group.
New students every 5 weeks is a challenge, but also a refreshing way to be in continual improvement. I feel you can gather from each group; always a situation to draw from.
I definately agree. I have different students every 5 weeks and they all have different learning styles.
