Professionalism
I have been teaching for over 4 years now and professionalism is so important. I agree that we as instructors must be an example for our students. Students are watching everyday to see how we are going to react to certain situations. We constantly teach them about soft skills in class however when we are not in the school environment they are constantly still watching. Professionalism is important everywhere we go.

So true! Even though we may be outside of our teaching environment we need to always reflect a professional attitude and presence. We are role models for our career field and as educators.

Professionalism is something that must be constant and consistent, especially in our small state. In our state everyone knows everyone, and it is important to always be focused on your professional appearance. Proper language is essential in all situations, both in the workplace and in personal lives. It is important for every teacher to be aware of the fact that students watch us every minute, and we must be a role model for them.
