I have found that my personal instructional style reflects my personality. I'm constantly seeking activities that get my students up and moving while reinforcing the objectives for that class.

Good planning and approach. You are setting the stage in the classroom/lab so the students will see and know what to expect as they move out into the work world. This way you are reducing the trauma they will experience as they sit for exams and work through the certification process.

Within my pharmacy tech course I currently use technical competencies. I have to explain to the students which tests they will have to take to become certified, what they need to work in the field as a tech, and also still be able to drill them on thier drugs. We wear uniforms, myself included to show the students what is considered professional within the field.
