My instructional philosophy
My instructional philosophy incorporates my past career experience and my past educational background. Which in my opinion peaks interest in students beacuse I am a LCB graduate who has achieved success in the culinary field.

Students love to hear stories from their instructors about their fields. I believe these stories help the students to see the value of the content being taught as well as make connections between themselves and their future opportunities.

I find the same thing with my line of work. I teach mainly Criminal Justice classes and my students seem to really enjoy my discussions when I share examples from my time working as a police officer and as a probation officer.
