New Instructor
This information has made me understand more of what is expected from me, by not only my students but from myself
Hi Ann-Marie,
I am a new instructor as well. I have been in my profession for 13 years but was so nervous about actually teaching my skills to others. I have learned so much from this course on how to be a better instructor. My comfort in the classroom has improved tremendously!
I agree with Sherry. I am a new instructor as well and this course has provided me with an awareness of various learning styles that I could install into the classroom. I will try to assess each students learning styles and taylor my lesson plans accordingly
Hi Ann Marie,
I am a new instructor as well. I too found this to be a lot of great information that has helped me get a better understanding on how to develop my own teaching style and make sure that the students are gaining the information that is expected of me.

Hello, I am a new instructor after being in a different job for over 12 years. It has been a challenging, yet exciting adjustment into the world of education. I've learned alot from the course material and hope to continue to build on my own education and teaching skills to better myself and my students education.

Hello everyone,
I am a new instructor as well. This course material has really help me to know what is expected of an instructor and how to be the best instructor that I can possibly be. I think that it is very important to know the mission and goals of the school that you are teaching in and that will help you guide the students towards the instructional learning style that the school and instructor has in mind. Knowing each student learning ability and style can also help the instructor enhance their teaching ability. I loved the information that I have learned in this course.
Thanks,

Ann-Marie,
Good point and something that instructors need to be aware of if and when they change schools. Knowing the mission of the school in relation to student support can determine whether there is a fit or not.

I also learned that coming from one schoold to another makes a lot of difference on how they want you to train the students. When you come from a school that wants you to hand feed them to another that they have to deserve what they learn makes a big difference. Its sometimes hard to change.
Hello Ann-Marie
I am a new instructor as well and I must tell you that this information has also helped me. At many times I have had students who confuse caring for their progress as a weakness.
