Advice for "one-shot" library instruction sessions
I'm a new academic librarian, and part of my job involves doing instruction sessions on the topics of research, library resources, and APA style. These presentations usually only last about an hour.
I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to cram a lot of information on sometimes several different subjects into a single presentation and still engage the students so they retain the information?
Jared,
You have a real challenge during your presentation time. I am sure you are going to get some valuable input from others in this course.
