Course Planning

I find that if I spend alot of time do a good job planning, the teaching part is easy. I've learned as an Instructor if you don't put the sweat in the prep you will sweat teaching the class.

I agree. You need to go in there with a good plan. You will feel more at ease and the lesson will flow better. Students can tell when you're not prepared and don't appreciate it. There will always be different variables and changes that occur, but it's good to have a strong plan from the start to fall back on.

Planning is important when it comes teaching. As an Instructor, I've learned to come prepared in order to motivate my students on becoming responsible with their school work.

I agree. Also, if you spend alot of time prepping for a class, it will help you in the future (if you have the opportunity to teach the same class again)

Hi Steve,
Well said. In fact that should be one of those slogans that teachers post in their prep area. "Put sweat in the prep so you won't sweat in teaching".
