Mixture of topics
I like to bring variety into the classroom. All lecture can be deadly, so I like to vary the content with real world examples and problem based learning.

Good plan. You can never "over" prepare enough. I know my plan A never seems to work and sometimes if things really fall apart I am working on my plan M or Z before I know it. Enjoy your teaching. It sounds like you are having fun with being an instructor.

I always "over" prepare with different ways to deliver content. Each class varies day to day--I mix it up to keep it interesting
