learning enviroment
what makes a good learning enviroment is that it has to be quiet because that studnets have to be able to focus on their content or what ever the instuctor has given them.
The classroom has to be condusive to the learning environment. The classroom must be the appropriate size to accommodate the number of students comfortably. The room must not be too cold or hot.
The learning enviroment is very important, because students need to be in a place where they can focus, listen an get the skills that they need to graduate.
Hi Travis,
Good point about simulating the real world environment as much as possible for the students. A classroom should be organized to promote the maximum learning possible and the lab portion of the class can be organized and run like an employment site. This gives the students a realistic picture of what is coming their way at graduation.

I believe that a realistic work environment is better than a comfortable and quiet leaning environment. Granted that in the classroom perhaps it is good for it to be quite but in the practical application once the groundwork has been presented in class and mastered I do not see why we cannot subject students to a simulated, real-world environment. Some students learn better when it is quiet others perform better in controlled chaos, I guess you would have to know and understand the group of students that you were teaching to adjust your style accordingly.
I feel a good learning enviroment besides being in a comfortable setting, where the temperature is either too hot or cold, also of course has to do with the instructor and their body language.
The presence they radiate and the interaction of the students themselves.
In smaller classes group involvement I think would promote a positive learning environment.
The learning environment plays a very important role in creating a happy and realistic learning atmosphere. A conducive environment can improve students’ active participation and the effectiveness of teaching. The learning environment in a classroom includes the physical conditions of the classroom. For example, in the trade that I teach the classroom should resemble (as close as possible) the exact conditions of the shop environment in which they will be employed after graduation (temperature, hygiene, air circulation, interior design, etc). This includes the classroom’s management and use of learning resources.
