Is this a proven forum for professional development?
We are required to attend faculty In-Service sessions which I consider a form of professional development. Other activities are very much individually based and there is quite a bit a flexibility regarding what qualifies.

Interestingly, the school where I teach requires a variety of professional development sources. CEE can be used for only one of the two required activties in one year. Variety and a balanced approach seem most effective.
I'm guessing she's wondering if your training system has been evaluated on its effectiveness in improving instructional performance. I'm curious as well.
