How much time do one need to prepare for a class that they have taught
How much time does an instructor need to prepare for a class they have taught numerous times before?????

I spend several hours preparing to teach the couse again because I review how things went and try to improve on the course.

Hard to really answer this question because there are some many different factors that come into play. For example I try to introduce a new assignment, activity or strategy into my course each time I teach it. I do this to keep me from becoming bored with the course and because I want to continually improve the course. So the planning I do for a course involves reviewing my notes from the previous time I taught the course so I am fresh in terms of content and then I work on my new course effort. So I would estimate after I wrote and developed the course I now spend about half the amount of time I used to working on the course.
