I think the list of 10 rules as presented is good. If I were to put them in order of importance, I would start out with "Be Yourself." I have been in classes where a teacher or instructor was trying to portray themselves as something they were not. As a result, they came across as phony.

Good point and one every new instructor needs to remember as he/she starts their teaching career. You can only be who you are in relation to how you approach the classroom.
