Hoe does a class outline and syllbus really differ?

Developing a course - outline is so imperative to having an effective course. This outline is guide that will allow you to make sure all the course's objectives/goals are met. I also agree with Dr. Meers, my course outline is also a calendar. I distribute this calendar to my students. This is also is guide for them as well. It allows the students to have a preview into the course's expectations.

A class outline contains the headings of the topics for each class session. My class outline is also a calendar so the students know what we will be covering and when. The course syllabus is a comprehensive document that covers the requirements of the course, policy information, goals, and objectives in addition to any college information that students need to know like were to go in emergencies.
