Staying on task - Syllabus

Insturctors at every level uses aids such as a syllabus to prepare and organize lessons. Regardless of the syllabus format this helps students as well as instructors stay on task. This also helps students move systematically toward learner goals.

Bill,
What are some strategies for doing this from your perspective?

Also, set time limits,so all info can be gone over in detail.

I agree students at my campus we give a weekly calendar to insure students know what to expect on a daily basis regarding your lesson plan.

Student must know contents of syllabus on day first so that they will know what is going to be discuss during this module.
