Planning

What is the easiest why to outline chapters and prepare for lectures?

I always go through the course objectives and the vocabulary list to help me outline. =)

Melissa,
Start first with the goal for the lesson. Then go through the material and look for key concepts that reinforce knowledge about the goal. Try to find 3 or 5 key concepts. Under each key concept list information that support the concept. You can put this information into handout form and the handout will become a set of guided notes that walk the students through the material and lecture. We have a course on Developing Lesson Plans you can look at. It contains all of the steps for developing effective and efficient lesson plans. (ED 109).
