Common Sense
Teach others as you would like to be taught....RW.
Rick,
Good way to listen to and consider feedback you get from your students. They know you respect them because of the changes in made in your delivery so that you were touching on additional learning preferences.

I do that. But I find that it probably makes me forget others' learning styles. I had a class recently remind me of this when I asked for suggestions. Some asked for more videos and diagrams, so I did in fact incorporate more of them into the classroom discussions.
Alfred,
Yes it is common sense but many instructors seem to forget their common sense when they come into a classroom. As the learning leader the instructor needs to be a role model and example for the students in all things that are done.

It is common sense to lead by example. Being prepared for class ahead of time, treating your students as adult learners, give respect to get respect, and always conduct yourself as a professional at all times.
I agree that we should teach others like we would like to be taught. Basically it is to listen to what the student has to say and not to make them feel inadequate in any way for any questions. I try to make sure I have eye contact with them and smile
Robby,
What are some ways you do this with your courses?
