What I do in our post conference is to rotate one student daily to discuss their patient like a case study type and everybody participate in the discussion by asking questions. In addition , I encourage them to share interesting experiences they have during their shift to share them in the class and what the students learned from it. Lourdes

Hi Flori,
Not knowing how your students earn points for the course, one suggestion would be to allow the students to earn "professional points" for participation. Another way is to show them the value of engaging in the post conference discussion.
Break the students up into groups and have different groups lead the discussion on a rotating basis. This way there will be point values associated with each group so the individuals within the group will be able to earn points.
