Informing Students

The more the students understand how they are going to get to where they want to go, the more they will buy into it.

Hi Rachel,
Great to hear about defining your objectives more clearly. You will find that your students will have a clearer picture of course expectations which enables you to focus on their learning pathways more accurately.
Gary

I always have students ask the two questions, "What do I have to do to pass?" and "What am I going to be able to do/learn when I get out?" I find the first question easy to answer, but the second is difficult. I think that this tutorial helped me to realize that I need to express my course objectives more clearly in my first day, verbal information.
