How often do you update your notes?
I update my notes everytime I teach, even if it is the same subject. There is always plenty to say about what you love.

I like your method. I use this method as well so I can review what has worked, what I need to change and how I will introduce new content or activities into my course the next time I teach it. This really helps as you know to improve the course each time it is taught.

I update my notes every time I teach the course. I have a course teaching binder that has all of the material needed to teach the course in the event that I’m not able to teach class. Keeping your notes up to date will enable you to make sure that the class material is current.

Hi Janice,
Every time you teach the topic. As you prepare your lesson check to see that the content is current and that the activities you are going to use are the best for that unit. This way each time you teach the course you will refine your delivery and expand your instructional expertise.
