first day
first day is very important for me because i must prepare every thing before the student come. And when they will come i will introduce my self and my experiance and i will tell them " start to tell me about you, why you come to this program"
I tell them my name and a little about myself regarding my career and educational background. Then I really focus on each student so that he/she knows that I have a sincere interest in each one of them.

I agree that the first day is very important for the instructor and the student. The imformation in module 3 has been very helpful to me because I realize some of the things that I have been doing and also information and activities that I have been leaving out or maybe not being as detailed as I could have been. So, I have definitely gained more insight on how to create more order, fun,comfort and effectivess throughout the class. Thanks!

Glad to hear about your loving the first day of class. Makes me think I'm not as weird as I think I am because I love these first days as well. It is fun to meet the new students and learn about how they see the class and what their expectations are. This gets me all ramped up and excited about teaching the course once again.

I actually love the first day of class. I meet and greet and learn about my new Students. They meet me. I start understanding the group dynamics and learning about how I can motivate them to love the education they will be learning and the skills they will accomplish toward their career goals.
