meeting the class for the first time
This module showed me how to approach the students in a friendly and unnervous way. Is great to have a course like this one so every rookie instructor, to advance instructor can benefit from it. It gives you great ideas.

I also become a bit anxious when meeting a new class. I make a checklist to make sure I don't forget anything and I also do a game in which the students introduce themselves. This module has helped me with learning new techniques to calm my anxiety.
As with everything a strong foundation is paramount. Starting off the class on the "right foot" is an excellent way to help students learn. This module helped me understand new ways to approach the first day.
This module also has helped me.i still get some anxiety when meeting a new class but once I start to discuss the items to be covered,I'm OK,and on my way to becoming the teacher I want to be.

This module as well enlightened me. I still get nervous when the first class arrives. As the weeks go on, I become more comfortable. I now know what I can do the first day to show even more comfortable and self assured about my course and my abilities. Not only do my students learn, I now have some new knowledge myself.
