Getting Input from your Students

This is a valuable resource that must not be overlooked.

WE have to always remember that they're why were in business for.

If there are 20 students in a class I will get about 5 differring suggestions, some of which are contradictory. But it allows the students to voice their opinions and gives me an insight.

I love it when I get input from mystudents. Know I dont let them run the class but it is a good way to involve my students in their learning.

Hi Becki,
Good point. The point is you have to be the teacher. That is what you were hired to do and if you don't someone else will assume leadership. When that happens the class will start to fall apart. Thanks for the input on this.

While that is true, one must not put too much on the students to run the class. Allowing the "lunatics to run the asylum" never works. I understand that input from many different areas are important, but taking "most" of it from students is not wise.
