Frist impressions
First impression are important....be careful how your day begin and what you bring into the class that day
I always try and have a timeline for class. I want to make sure that I know what should happen and at what time is should be happening. Even if you are off schedule because of discussion or an interruption you can easily get back on track by checking your scheduled timeline for class.
I AGEE WITH DERICK BECAUSE FIRST IMPRESSIONS CAN MAKE OR BRAKE YOUR CREDIBILITY AS AN INSTRUCTOR. BEING PREPARED FOR CLASS IS ALWAYS THE BEST FOR YOUR STUDENTS ABILTY TO LEARN.
Your first impression in class will set the way your Mod goes.
to make a good imprseeion on the fist day, the instructor should:
1. Arrive 30 minutes before class
2. Set up all media equipment and make sure it works
3. Have more copies than needed of any paperwork that is to be past out the first day
4. Have supplies for the eraser board handy
5. Make sure the room is neat and in an orderly manner
6. Immediately report any problems to maintenance or to the proper departments for anything that is not up to standard
7.Have your clothes pressed, shoes highly polished, up to date dress atire that meets the standards of the top 100 corporations - to look the best, dress like the best, have hair groomed in the manner that projects the immage the you want you students to project when hired,
8. Have a copy of the attendace roster handy and review to determine what names may be challenging when trying to call roll.
