testers
Any suggestions on how to handle the ones that have a hard time testing?
Something when I have a student that is a hard tester I read the questions to them and that seems to make a difference.
Kryste,
There are some many different problems that can arise with students in testing. They may need more time, more examples of how to complete the questions, or how to respond to different testing formats. If you can determine where they need support or adaptation then you can adjust your testing format. The key thing to remember is that you can adjust the testing format but you do not want to reduce the standard of the field. To do so to get a student through is unfair to the student and to their future employer since they will not have the content and skills needed to be successful.
