Study Guide and handout
Here is say its good to give out study guide and handouts. I do give out study guide sometimes reason the student dont like them. They dont see this should help them. Then its stude guides I do not do.Student want the study guide to look like the final exam. I have seen some study guide to be just like the final. How is that helping the student. It should only be a guide to what they need to study. RIGHT?????

I do to and this is why I give them to my students. They really help to keep the students focused on the key concepts.

I used study guides to help point out key concepts that I want illustrate
I feel that the study Guides and handouts are very helpful for the home work.

Right. A study guide should be just that a guide to what the key concepts are that have been covered. It is up to the students to use the study guides to prepare for quizzes and exams. The guides should not be a copy of the upcoming final because then they are really aren't helping the students to study they are just telling the students what is on the exam.
