I think when you end the class you should tell them what they will be doing the next day
providing students with information on the next class discussion allows them time to review and feel comfortable and excited to be there

Yes it does and it gives flow to the class session so the students can see where the class is headed.

Providing information regarding the next class session allows students to prepare and if done correctly will leave them looking forward to the next class.

It is good to get them excited about the next class session. I like to ask them a question or create a mystery that will be solved in the next session based upon what we will be discussing. Anything to get them to look forward to the next class session.
